Calling all young makers and creators! Come along to The Sewing Lounge these school holidays, where you'll design, cut and stitch your very own animal plushie to take home and cuddle!

In this fun, hands-on session, kids will learn real sewing machine skills in a relaxed, supportive space — no experience needed, just enthusiasm! I'll guide them step by step through the whole process, from choosing fabrics to adding those final finishing touches.

It's the perfect holiday activity: creative, confidence-building, and a great break from screens. Plus, they'll walk away with something they made themselves, and a new skill for life.

How it works

  1. Book your child's spot for the session

  2. They'll pick their fabric and be guided through each step of making their plushie

  3. They leave with a finished plushie, made entirely by them

Spaces are limited, so get in early to secure your child's spot.

The workshop requires at least 3 attendees in order for it to run. If the workshop doesn’t meet this number you will be offered an alternative workshop or a refund

Please be aware that the class may be shorter or longer than the allocated time depending on participants sewing speed and in either circumstances the price paid is fixed.

A waiver and photo consent form will require a signature on arrival. Photo consent is optional however the waiver must be signed in order to participate with the class.

I understand that life gets busy and plans can change! Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund or credit for another class. Cancellations made 3-6 days before will receive a 50% refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable however your spot can be transferred to a friend or family. No-shows are not entitled to a refund. If for any reason Suzanne needs to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
