About the workshop
Looking to spend some quality time with your mum/daughter/son, or start learning a new hobby together, then this is the class for you. You will be given the freedom to choose what project you would like to sew, so that you both get the most out of the class and make something together that you can treasure.
What you will learn (dependent on project chosen):
- How to set up and use a sewing machine
- How to use a pattern template
- Preparation, pinning, and cutting of fabric, including pairs
- Construction using the sewing machine
- Different stitch techniques and why we use them
- Design skills by choosing fabric combination
What you will experience:
- A relaxed home from home environment in which to create and learn
- A friendly teacher
- Plenty of focused and hands-on instruction
- Quality time with your chosen loved one
What you will leave with:
- A beautiful handmade item
- New skills which open up plenty more possibilities
- A sense of accomplishment and pride
- A happy mind from a creative morning
All equipment provided and a variety of high-quality fabric to choose from.
