About the workshop

Ever wished you could mend and alter your own clothes and not have to pay some one else to? Have a pile of unwearable clothes waiting to be fixed?

Bring along up to 4 garments that need fixing or altering and I will teach you how to do each one.

Examples of what you could learn:

-           How to turn up/fix a hem

-           How to sew a button

-           How to alter a waistband that is too big

-           How to fix a rip/tear

-           How to make something bigger

-           How to shorten/lengthen/fix a stap

What you will experience:

-            A relaxed home from home environment in which to create and learn

-            A friendly teacher

-            Plenty of focused and hands-on instruction with only 4 participants per class

What you will leave with:

-            A bunch of newly wearable clothes

-            New skills which open up plenty more possibilities

-            A sense of accomplishment and pride

-            A happy mind from a creative morning

Sewing machines and equipment provided.

Please be aware that the class may be shorter or longer than the allocated time depending on participants sewing speed and in either circumstances the price paid is fixed.

At least 2 participants are required for a workshop to run. If there is only 1 booking, that person will be offered a reschedule or the option to pay the extra for a 1-2-1 class.

A waiver and photo consent form will require a signature on arrival. Photo consent is optional however the waiver must be signed in order to participate with the class.

I understand that life gets busy and plans can change! Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund or credit for another class. Cancellations made 3-6 days before will receive a 50% refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable however your spot can be transferred to a friend or family. No-shows are not entitled to a refund. If for any reason Suzanne needs to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
