Want to learn at your own pace? A private one-to-one lesson at The Sewing Lounge gives you my full, undivided attention — so we can go exactly as fast (or as slow) as you need, and focus on what matters most to you.

Whether you're picking up a needle for the very first time, brushing up on skills, or want help bringing a specific project to life, the session is built entirely around you.

Why book a one-to-one lesson

  • All about you — fully personalised guidance, with no need to keep pace with a group

  • Any skill level welcome — from complete beginners to confident sewists wanting to level up. All ages over 6 are welcome.

  • Learn what you want to learn — general skills, a specific technique, or your own project idea

  • Everything provided — machines, tools, and fabric included (depending on project)

  • A relaxed home studio setting — all yours for the session

How it works

Cost is $80 for the first hour, $60 for every hour longer.

Cost is $80 for the first hour, $60 for every hour longer.

Please be aware that the class may be shorter or longer than the allocated time depending on participants sewing speed and in either circumstances the price paid is fixed.

A waiver and photo consent form will require a signature on arrival. Photo consent is optional however the waiver must be signed in order to participate with the class.

I understand that life gets busy and plans can change! Cancellations made 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund or credit for another class. Cancellations made 3-6 days before will receive a 50% refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable however your spot can be transferred to a friend or family. No-shows are not entitled to a refund. If for any reason Suzanne needs to cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
